For years, I dreamed about living abroad. Like many women, I spent decades working, paying bills, recovering from setbacks, and rebuilding my life more than once. I learned that financial security isn’t something that just happens—you create it, protect it, and use it to build the life you truly want.
Eventually, I realized there would never be a perfect time.
So I stopped waiting.
Moving abroad wasn’t as simple as buying a plane ticket. There were visas to navigate, healthcare decisions, financial planning, packing, language barriers, and countless unexpected surprises. Some days were exciting. Others were overwhelming. I’ve made mistakes, changed plans, and learned lessons that no travel brochure ever talks about.
Yet every challenge has made me stronger and more confident.
Today, I wake up knowing I had the courage to bet on myself. I’ve discovered beautiful places, met incredible people, and proven that reinvention doesn’t come with an expiration date.
