Hi, I’m Jackie Robinson, founder of JackieR Life Abroad.
At age 71, I made a decision that changed my life: I left the United States and started over abroad.
After a successful 37-year career in technology and marketing, I retired in 2020 and began asking myself a question many women eventually face:
What’s next?
Rather than settling into a traditional retirement, I chose reinvention. Since then, I’ve explored life in multiple countries, navigated visas, healthcare systems, housing challenges, cultural differences, and the everyday realities of building a life outside the United States.
Today, I share those experiences to help other women over 60 make informed decisions about retirement abroad.
I believe moving abroad is about much more than finding a cheaper place to live. It’s about creating a life that offers greater freedom, purpose, adventure, and peace of mind.
